Toyota Gen 8 Hilux 3500kg NA GVM Upgrade (OEM#47341) Up to Dec 23

Suspension kit consists of:

  • 1 Shackle bush kit
  • 2 Swinging shackles
  • 2 Fixed pins
  • 1 GVM Compliance plate
  • 1 GVM tyre placard

West Coast Suspension is authorized under Federal approval number 47898 to supply and fit a GVM suspension upgrade for the Toyota Gen 8 Hilux to 3300 or 3500kg GVM. This enables the operator to legally carry 300-500kg over the factory stipulated GVM.

 

Please note: To obtain the 3500kg upgrade, the tyre load rating must be no less than “110” with a speed rating not less than “S”.  

 

This GVM upgrade has been ESC tested by Bosch Australia and complies with the ADR 35-05 “Sine with Dwell” requirements and fully certified under RVCS (Road Vehicle Certification System) by the federal Dept. of Infrastructure and Regional Development. 

 

This kit can be fitted to licenced vehicles under the state-based type approval (TA) system.

 

Each GVM suspension upgrade is issued with a vehicle compliance plate, fitted next to the OEM compliance plate, stating vehicle particulars and approval number.

For licenced vehicles, the GVM certification process varies depending on state or territory. The vehicle may need to be inspected by an authorised Automotive Engineer to comply with that state or territory’s GVM compliance requirements.

Variants of the Toyota Hilux covered by this upgrade are: Workmate, SR, SR5 including 2WD HiRider (Rogue, GR Sport & are currently excluded)

 

WCS GVM upgrades only increase the Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM).  They do NOT increase the Gross Combined Mass (GCM) or Braked Towing Capacity (BTC).

Please be aware that these kits must be fitted by a WCS approved fitter/manufacturing facility.
