Toyota 78/79 Series LandCruiser 3900kg GVM Upgrade (OEM#03477)

West Coast Suspension is authorised under Federal approval number 47230 to supply and fit a GVM suspension upgrade for the Toyota 78/79 Series LandCruisers to 3900kg GVM. This enables the operator to legally carry 500-600kg over the factory stipulated GVM.

This GVM upgrade has been ESC tested by Bosch Australia and complies with the ADR 35-05 “Sine with Dwell” requirements and fully certified under RVCS (Road Vehicle Certification System) by the federal Dept. of Infrastructure and Regional Development.

This kit can be fitted to licenced vehicles under the state-based type approval (TA) system.  Each GVM suspension upgrade is issued with a vehicle compliance plate, fitted next to the OEM compliance plate, stating vehicle particulars and approval number.

For licenced vehicles, the GVM certification process varies depending on state or territory. The vehicle may need to be inspected by an authorised Automotive Engineer to comply with that state or territory’s GVM compliance requirements.

This kit also requires Category 6 side indicators to be fitted to the vehicle before it is presented for licensing.

WCS GVM upgrades only increase the Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM).  They do NOT increase the Gross Combined Mass (GCM) or Braked Towing Capacity (BTC).
